We took a van to Tel Aviv this morning. The hotel is great. They brought out lemonade for us and they're very helpful. The rooms are nice too. We got ourselves organized and then asked them to call us a taxi to go to Jaffa - the old city. They got a large taxi so all six of us could go at once. We asked him to come back for us at 5:00. That made everything easy. We had lunch and then just wandered around. We went in some old markets. Most of the shopkeepers wear yarmulkas here.
The hotel has complimentary happy hour at 5:00 - 7:30. So when we got back, we went there. There was unlimited wine, little sandwiches, cheese, etc. At the end, they brought out baklava. So that was free dinner
We have to get up at 3:15 for our trip to the airport. The hotel provides transportation. We are supposed to get in at Dulles at 6:10 tomorrow evening.
