Today, Wendy and I started our road trip to New England. We haven't gotten to a New England state yet. We had lots of last minute stuff to do in Alexandria this morning. I took my car to get the oil changed. Then we had lunch with Martha, Paul and David. We left Alexandria at 1:00 pm. Traffic was pretty good most of the way. It actually looked like we would get here too early. So, about halfway up New Jersey, we stopped at Panera to get a drink and a snack since we knew dinner would be late. When we were close to getting into New York, just before the Goethals Bridge, traffic got much worse. But after the bridge, the traffic was fine. We found a parking space around the corner from Oumar and. Lisa's place. Then we walked to the wine bar where Lisa said to meet her. Lisa came after about 10 minutes and Oumar a little after that. We had a drink and then went to a Greek restaurant. The neighborhood has tons of interesting restaurants. After dinner, we walked back, talked a little and then went to bed.
